Kirk-G and I envisioned a level where the ants obtain weapons and exhibit the same behavior as the defense towers.. except.. THEY'RE IN MOTION.  So while they're avoiding getting hit - based on their artificial intelligence - they still have the same goal of reaching the bases, and will do so at the lowest risk.  However, aside from damaging the towers when they decide to walk over them, they can now also shoot at them.   (I know I haven't talked about the zombie-ant level 3 yet...)
